Weekend match report 27th November

It was windy but the rain stayed away. A very mixed day for BMS with 2 wins and 3 losses.

Premier Division won against Linton 78-39 14 points

Premiers got back on track with their first win for the year. Phil Clamps rink went down 16-18 , Mick Storey won 20-16 and Ryan Bedgood’s rink had a thumping 42-5 win which really stretched the margin and got the glasses. Hopefully the start of a good run of form to get back into contention.

Division 2 lost to Bungaree 67-97 0 points

A forgettable day at Bungaree for the two’s with all four rinks going down and a overall a heavy defeat. Mick Hampson lost 17-24 , Dave Lindsay lost 16-27 , Kevin McLean lost 15-24 and Jeff Ryan lost 19-22. There is always next week.

Division 3 lost to Victoria 53-87 2 points

A rather big home loss with only Michelle Tait’s rink getting up. Tom Kuyper’s lost 6-28 , H Johannsen lost 15-20 , Paul Harris lost 10-23 and Michell Tait up 22-16 and getting the vouchers.

Divsion 5 won against Creswick 89-82 12 points

Well its not how many rinks you get up its the overall score. Only the one rink up but a big margin got the whole team over the line. Rod Otto lost 14-27 , Ian Russell lost 18-23 , Mark Taylor lost 13-14 and Neil Ellard’s rink got the big victory with a dominant 34-8 win.

Division 6 lost to Central Wendouree 80-93 2 points

Only one rink really lost badly but it was the difference at Central. Mark Walker lost 20-21 , Larry Wilson lost 18-21 , Anthony McCabe lost 14-29 and Don Ross won 28-22.

Elvis was in the house and is starting to get fat with cash after a rash of wrong biases this week.

Ron Walker and Linda Johannsen on Tuesday

From Saturday Mick Hughes , Crackers (back to back weeks) , Greg Vagg , Brian Hickman must be pushing for GOAT closely followed by Dennis who put down another one today.
